   Personally, if I wanted an eBook reader, I’d choose this any day over the iPod that swallowed a photo frame.

    I don’t get the point of the argument. Are you saying that those features are not new because they have already been invented? I never said the features were new, I just stated a list of things the ipad can do that the sony ebook can’t. But there are also things that the sony ebook and do that the ipad cant. For example the sony has a superior batter (which lasts for weeks), the sony has a screen made for reading (unlike the ipad which will strain your eyes), and its cheaper.

    I must admit what you say about apple prices is true, but thats not the case with the iPad. Its about $500 bucks, which is about twice the price of this ebook reader, but its a lot more than this ebook reader. First of all its a colored screen. you can see pictures, browse the web, multi-touch, create documents, google earth, and read ebooks (obviously). You get a lot more for those $250 bucks here…

    the ipad is NOT released now, sony still has a shot on selling these because it has a AWESOME screen, and the batterylife is WAY more than ipad’s 11 hours, vs sony’s WEEKS!!
    i love sony, i buy everything with sony written on it. It’s just that i think more people might buy the ipad, considering the ipad is just a jumbo itouch with no camera.,..people might not even buy the ipad!!! awesome vid!!
