I thought The Book …
I thought The Book of Eli was awesome, and not just from the violence. The movie is caked in symbolism; the hairless cat (the pharaohs taken down by Christians), all the walking (like Jesus), heading West (Jesus was mainly in the West), the blind mother’s name was Annamaria (Mary), he was shot and came back (crucifixion and resurrection), he obviously did a lot of extremely unrealistic crap (with the help of God), etc.

God I hate movie critics. The Book of Eli was a great movie with a really good message. Critics just try to find as many things wrong with a movie as possible. Even though some of the points they make aren’t even plausible.
