Can you read ebooks bought from Amazon on other ebook devices than the Kindle?

I mean, if I already have an ebook reader, but it is not Amazon’s Kindle, and I want to buy an ebook from Amazon, can I read it on my ebook reader, too?

What format files are supported by ebook reader of micromax Q3 mobile and how to copy a file?

I have copied a pdf file into the folder of ebook by selecting the mobile as a mass storage device when connected to the PC, but it is not working. Can somebody help me how can we use the ebook reader of Q3 mobile?

Micromax Q3 doesn’t support .pdf files but if you will convert the .pdf file into .txt file then You can use ebook reader in Q3 to open your .txt file! You can copy a file by selecting it and if there are more then one file then select it by ctrl or shift and then select copy command and then paste it to the desired location!

I am doing a research project and I am suppose to design an ebook device that comes out in 2011. I thought of PCI or HGB bus,but what kind of bus structure would be the best

If it’s a hand held device, you want a small computer bus – no one is going to walk around with a laptop in his pocket. The best design would probably be a proprietary bus, designed for the device. Why carry around unneeded hardware?

No, it has backlight and will harm our eyes for reading too long with it. It’s not designed for reading purpose as well.

And if you’re getting the Kindle, my advice for you is to place the order as soon as possible so to ensure it arrives to you early. The first batch has just sold out and the second batch now deliver on or before 17th Sept. When the second batch get out of stock, it may take another month for it to be back in stock, and you’ll have to wait much longer.

What is a good CHEAP ebook Reader?

I used to use my nintendo DS with an R4 for reading Ebooks and I thought it was excellent, but it got water damaged and no longer works. Now I want a cheap device- preferably with small screen- for me, the three or whatever inch screen on the ds was more than enough.

Looking for a really good site to download free e-books?

I’ve become a little disappointed in how limited the selection is on a lot of e-book sites. I’ve tried project gutenberg, and it’s great, but there are a couple of newer titles I’ve been looking for that aren’t even available on my device’s respective ebook store. Does this just mean that these particular books are probably not available in e-book format yet? Any suggestions for websites that have a really good selection of e-books would be appreciated. THANKS!

theres 4shared.com. its not an e-book site, but i get most of my books from there. its basically where people just put stuff they have on the internet (music, pictures, books etc.) to share with other people, and they almost ALWAYS have what your looking for.
