@carischma I wish there would be less idiots who don’t know the difference between a laptop and an e-book reader. It’s not perceived value it’s actual value. I have an e-book reader for three years now … and I never read on a laptop again. So go around and read on your laptop – I don’t care …

@insAneTunA you never had such a device in your hands. I hate people like youi about things they don’t understand.

Don’t get such a device and read on your laptop … see you in 20 years at your Eye doctor …morron

@r8qt7 I agree. Unfortunately, that still doesn’t make the devices less pricey. All that does is making this one appear like a bargain compared to the top tier. Perceived value is a :-)

A laptop does not have that screen but all the other goodies that make a laptop FUNCTIONAL and USEFUL..

Other then that I am pretty sure that the parts inside that useless thing are not worth more then 30 bucks. That price is a scam, people are idiot if the pay that much money for that less possibilities.

@insAneTunA a laptop doesn’t have that screen. If you once have read on an eink device you don’t want to read on a tft anymore

price, non expandable drive, lack of browser, and the fact that I would be scared to bend it because it looks fragile are my cons.I love manga and this would be perfect, auto converson, thin, and blue tec makes it apealimg. One day a company will get it right but untill then I stick to carrinh one book at a time.

I wish they had a basic Web browser for static web content. But this is probably against the Co.’s interest, that is selling you e-books, magzines and news papers.

    I absolutely LOVE IT!
but I agree…$650+ seems a bit over the top for me.
Despite the price…just comparing what you get for your money, it makes little sense to buy the $650 one if you can spend “only” $150 more and get twice the gig.

I like it. Definately a step in the right direction. Magazines look a lot better then on the kindle. Pricey, but I can see getting one in a few years when the price goes down.
